Meet HL Glenn Owens, H 610-644-0470, C 484-885-0504, for an adventure hike as defined on the Club web site. The day consists of two loop hikes. The first weaves through a coal company town and adjacent strip mined land. The second is on the river side trails at the nearby State Park. Meet at Eckley Miner's Village. Directions: (mileage approximate) Take the N.E. Turnpike Extension to the Pocono, I-80 exit. Travel west on I-80 5 miles and exit at Route 940. Turn left, west, on Route 940 and travel 8 miles.
