Meet Hike Leader Alan Alvarez 610-804-6577, mapa136@gmail.com, for 2 days of hikes on the Appalachian Trail in WV. December 2nd to the 4th . We’ll do Sections 1 & 2 of the AT. The hikes are as follow:
Day 1: Harper’s Ferry to Shannondale Rd, 11 miles*, Class B/C
Day 2 :Shannondale Rd to VA 7, 9 miles*, Class B/C
* Note that mileage is approximate.
These are adventure hikes, HL has no prior knowledge of the trails. Will car pool
for travel, hikes will be shuttle hikes. For the purpose of fixing the logistics and
lodging, HL needs to know interested individuals by October 31st. Travel time to
Airbnb is 2:0 hours. Trip will be limited to 8 hikers (10 if couples) including HL.
Further details will be provided at some later date once HL knows who has
registered.
Registration is required by October 31st.
