Meet HL Terry Wildrick 610-429-9643 Description: The hike will follow an old railroad bed heading North along the river then take an intersecting trail up to the mountain ridge where it will meet the Appalachian Trail and then Sunfish Pond. From there we will take an abandoned fire road to the top of the Water Gap with spectacular views down the Delaware River and finally return to the Visitor Center via the very steep "Red Dot Trail". Bring lunch and water. Option to stop at the Minisink Tavern after the hike.
Meeting Time and Place: 7:00 AM Marchwood Center Parking Lot behind Bistro 24 or 9:00 AM at Kittatinny Point Visitor Center.110 miles from Marchwood to trail head.
Directions: Take the Northeast extension of the PA Turnpike to Route 22 East near Bethlehem to Route 33 North to Route 80 East. Immediately after crossing the toll bridge into New Jersey take Exit 1 into the Kittatinny Point Visitor Center.
