Meet HL Amy Swanson, 717-304-6806, for a moderately paced 6-7 mile point to point hike through the woods from Hopewell Furnace to St Peter’s Village with optional lunch afterwards. Carpooling required. We will meet at the parking lot next to The Inn at St Peter’s Village. From there we will carpool to the starting location at Hopewell Furnace, 2 Mark Bird Road, Elverson. Bring water, snacks, or a form of payment for lunch when we reach St Peter’s Village. Directions:To get to the starting location from Morgantown/Elverson take Rt 23 east towards Pottstown, turn left on St Peter’s Road. Take the left fork into St Peter’s village. The road narrows to one lane in and out of town due to a road wash out. The parking lot is on the left just after the one lane road before the inn.
