The Donut Hole Trail (DHT) is a trail paralleling the West Branch of the Susquehanna River through Sproul State Forest, in north-central PA. Most of the trail is in Clinton County, with a short segment at its western end in Cameron County. The Donut Hole Trail is regarded as one of the most challenging and remote trails in PA, encountering just 6 paved road along its entire length and featuring many difficult and steep climbs and unbridged stream crossing. During this trip, we’ll be day hiking the western section of the trail from where it departs the Susquehannock Trail System to the western terminus, near Jericho. We'll be camping in Kettle Creek State Park.

Optional day of hiking in Bald Eagle State Park on June 6 and staying in The Nature Inn at Bald Eagle State Park.
