Meet HL Jim Lertola, 484-883-9021 (C) for this loop trail through forest, fields, and bamboo, passing alongside Octoraro Creek. Primarily rolling hills with a few steep climbs. There are a number of stepping-stone creek crossings, so waterproof boots and hiking poles are suggested. Directions: From Kennett Square, take U.S.1 south past Oxford to the PA-272 exit. At the end of the ramp, turn right onto PA-272 north. Go 2.4 miles and turn right into Glenroy Preserve. Drive about 50 yards and turn left into the first (lower) gravel parking lot.
