The Wilmington Trail Club is pleased to announce a new trail challenge for walkers and runners. The Brandywine Valley Trails Challenge will take place on 12 April 2025. The course will be 25+ miles, include a shorter option, and only a small amount is on road.
The course will take participants through five parks: Brandywine Creek State Park, Winterthur, First State National Historical Park, Penns Woods, and Alapocas Run State Park.
Registration will open in January. We hope you’ll join us in the beautiful Brandywine Valley in April.
To familiarize yourself with the trail and to help you train, Wilmington Trail Club hosts two warm-up hikes done at your own pace. Details will be posted on the Wilmington Trail Club website; check the Hiking>Calendar section of the website for times and locations.
The registration deadline (to guarantee T-shirt) is March 26, 2025. On-site registration may be available.
