Meet Hike Leader Bob Gagnon 610-547-0034, robertgagnon@verizon.net, for a day hike on Section 1 of the Appalachian Trail in Pennsylvania, July 2, 2025, for a total of approximately 15 miles. The hike is from Delaware Water Gap, Mt Minsi Trailhead, to Wind Gap. This will be a shuttle hike. Bring water, snack, lunch.

Directions: We will meet at 8:00 AM at the Appalachian Trail Wind Gap (PA Route115/512) Parking Area, Wind Gap, PA 18091. Follow I-476 N, Exit 56 to US-22 East and PA-33 North to PA-512 N/E Moorestown Rd in Plainfield Township. Take the PA-512 North exit from PA-33 North. Continue on 512 North (North Broadway) to Appalachian Trail Parking in Wind Gap, PA.
GPS coordinates 40.8608, -75.2925. We will shuttle from there to the Mt Minsi Trailhead.
Carpool: for those interested in carpooling, meet at 6:30 AM at Gateway Shopping Center, Swedesford Road, Wayne, outside of the Starbucks.
Mt Minsi: I-476 North to Exit 56, route 22 to Allentown. Route 33 North to Stroudsburg, 209 North to Stroudsburg and I-80 East. Exit 310 to Delaware Water Gap and 611, to Main Street. Right onto Mountain Road, slight left to Mount Minsi Loop Trail.
