Meet HL George March, 610-384-3753 (H), for our traditional New Year's Day hike. Meet at 10:00 AM at the west boat dock parking area in Marsh Creek State Park.
Directions: Take Route PA 282 West (Wallace Avenue north) out of Downingtown for five (5) miles to the village of Lyndell. Turn right onto Lyndell Road and follow signs to Marsh Creek State Park.

Bring water and snacks. Parking: Unrestricted public parking areas are in the row opposite the “Trailers Only” parking row, and in the lot behind the block building housing the public restrooms. All unrestricted public parking areas may be used. The hike leader will have directional signs posted at several locations along the entrance road and at the entrance ends of the parking lots.
Note: Pequea Fire Company (Kinzers Station) is having its traditional Annual Homemade Pork and Sauerkraut family-style meal on New Year’s Day from 10:00 AM-5:00PM. Reservations are not required, so if a group of CCTC hikers wish to go there after the hike, as has been done often in past years, seating will be available. Adults $19.00, Children (4-12) $9.00.
