Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the Annual Banquet cannot be held in-person this year. Instead, the Board has elected to hold the event virtually via Zoom. More information is available on the Member Hiking Schedule Announcements.
!!!HUNTING SEASON SAFETY Hikers, be safe by being seen! Make sure you are visible from all sides by wearing fluorescent (blaze) orange. Also, be aware that the PA Game Commission has opened the following Sundays for additional hunting in PA: November 15, November 22 and November 29. "All visitors to PA State game lands from November 15 through December 15 (Sundays included) are required to wear a minimum of 250 square inches of daylight fluorescent orange-colored material on the head, chest and back combined or, in lieu thereof, a hat of the same colored material. The material shall be worn so it is visible in a 360° arc." Hunting takes place in many other areas besides State game lands so, for safety's sake, wear your orange from now through January.
Considering COVID-19 restrictions, CCTC's Board of Directors has adopted a set of requirements for the Club, for the Club's Hike Leaders and for individuals participating in Club activities. The current document listing those requirements can be found here.
