    • Another 25,000 Milestone! Congratulations to Elizabeth Brecht for achieving 25,000+ cumulative miles hiking with the club.

    • The Club has discontinued use of the Hot Line. Please refer to email announcements and continue to check the calendar for any schedule changes. The Chester County Trail Club Policies has been amended and updated to reflect this change. 
    • The September, 2021 edition of the Keystone Trails Assoc. newsletter, the Keystone Hiker, has been posted in the Member Section.
      • The Club's current Covid-19 Requirements and Procedures for CCTC Hiking can be found hereThe attached document takes into account the CDC's "Interim Public Health Recommendations for Fully Vaccinated People" guidance (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/fully-vaccinated-guidance.htmlthat was updated and published on 5/28/21. *Note, some hikes require registration if the Hike Leader has restricted the number of participants. These hikes will be bright pink on the Hike Calendar. Please familiarize yourself with the "Individual Responsibilities" listed in the updated document.

      • Congratulations to Don Barber for reaching his goal of hiking 25,000 miles with the Club on Sunday, April 25th at Bellevue State Park in DE. Here is a link to a nice article in the Daily Local News about Don and his achievement.
      • Beginning in April, eight of the busiest Natural Lands preserves will be closed to the public one day a week to allow for trail maintenance and natural areas management. To view the list and schedule of closures, visit the Natural Lands website.
        • The Club has updated its Liability Release & Hold Harmless Agreement. The new and current version of the agreement can be found here. The revised CCTC Hike Sign in Sheet includes the updated language. All Hike Leaders should begin using the new form effective November 24, 2020. 

        • Congratulations to Kathy Borrell for hiking the most miles in the Club's hiking year, October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020! Kathy logged 1,239.1 miles to become the 2019-2020 Trailmaster.
